Goals
Our primary goal is to empower the individual through education, information and
community programs that teach skills to the unemployed and give hope to the
disenfranchised.
LEC programs challenge and empower at-risk youth and families to leverage
education as a tool for overcoming life obstacles and for acquiring skills
needed to become productive members of society. |

Tools & Strategies
To achieve its goal of promoting personal and community wellness through
education, economic opportunity, healthcare and self-improvement programs, LEC
employs a gamut of time-tested tools and techniques. Our approach is holistic
with a focus on the
learner as the most important element of program design and implementation. The
choice of instructional materials and evaluation instruments is influenced
by and remains flexible and responsive to individual needs and interests,
especially with regard to age; reading abilities, learning style preferences,
and program resources.

one-on-one to review their goals, assess their strengths and ascertain
whether there are barriers preventing their long-term goal-achievement.
