On November 13, 2010, Life Education Center participated in a health
and wellness seminar on diabetes and obesity at the City of
Zion Church in Laurel. At this
event, LEC's Community Health and Wellness program sponsored free health
screenings for 16 people.
The screening which included blood pressure, body fat and body mass index
screenings was conducted by Beyond Excellence, a local personal health
solutions company.
